the Mountainaire Hotel

The Mountainaire Hotel was originally built in the 1940's and stands on the National Register of Historic Places as a superb example of Art Moderne architecture. Later used as apartments, these buildings have been abandoned for over 20 years. The white building in the series was the house of the original owner, uninhabited due to the presence of toxic black mold.
