the floating market

I've visited the Lam Phaya temple-floating market in Nakhon Pathom quite a bit in my 10 years in Thailand, and each time I go there is always something new to see & especially some new amazing food to try. The way it works is: you buy a ticket for a table on a boat which goes up the river to a temple & returns within a couple of hours. While waiting for the boat, you purchase food from the vendors, and there is A LOT to choose from. Then, you board the boat, ride along, see the sights, and stuff your face with some of the freshest & most delicious food to be found in Thailand. Not a bad way to spend a day, altogether.
